The last two years have shed a light on the dangers of neglecting general health. Individuals with obesity and chronic disease are those at highest risk for hospitalization and death from COVID 19. During the pandemic, childhood obesity has increased from 30% to 45%. The urgency has never been greater to teach our youth healthy habits so they can better withstand any illness that might come their way now or later in life. Healthy Kids Rx is committed to keeping kids active and providing nutrition education to instill healthy habits at an early age and impact lifestyle choices for years to come.
Healthy Kids Rx relies on contributions from community members, businesses and organizations to continue serving kids and young adults with disabilities. Your donation, whether big or small, is greatly appreciated. A big thanks to NFL player, Logan Wilson, for donating an autographed Bengals jersey and two mini helmets to be raffled.
For every $50 donated, 1 ticket will be submitted in a drawing held December 17th.
